Patch 2.0.2 - Get Extended is now live! (2024)

EDIT 02/26/22: Hotfix 2.0.0c addresses the crash some people are experiencing when visiting the settlement Old Paul is in. This had been caused by a corruption in the ba2 file, this seems to have primarily affected Xbox players, but may have also been hitting some PC hardware.

EDIT: Hotfix 2.0.0b fixes issues with HQ where projects would claim to be completed and nothing happened!

• 67 new outfits added via SS2Extended (optional injection patch also available to get those outfits on settlers)!
• Tutorial message history can now be accessed to re-read that message you just dismissed by mistake!
• Companions can now be recruited for HQ if they are living at a settlement!
• Automatic data corruption recovery added - if you had a buggy settlement, it might spring to life when you visit it next!
• SS2Extended is now included by default on Nexus and is available via Bethesda.net for PC players (as is the optional injection patch)!
• TONS of bug fixes!
• And loads more!

In addition there is an update available for Workshop Framework!

Xbox players, the versions to watch for when you can safely update are: 51 of SS2, and version 22 of Chapter 2.

SS2 crashed on me today. I saw there was an update and after I downloaded it, I received a notice that the .esm was missing files and Couldn’t be used. I’ve noted multiple people having the same issue today!

Uninstalled the game (+ all DLCs)
Reinstalled the game (+ all DLCs)
Logged back into Bethesda (new password)
Downloaded WSFW
Downloaded HUDF
SS2 still does not download (see below)

Scratch that! I just downloaded v49 and it looks like it loaded! Thank God I have 3 days into this build!

Same thing happend to me, went to install the newest update for SS2 from the ingame updater and it removed ss2 from my list stating that the update could not be completed and was unusable

Using steam and in-game updater #1 deleted my copy but would not install new. Also is offering #46 ss2 and #18 of chapter 2...

If you're using a mod manager, yeah you can uninstall the old file and then install the update to ss2 and it should readd the latest version of the file.

The SS2Extended files are still there, they are just now included in the .7z archive of the main download.

SS2 v49 definitely downloaded, but SS2 Chp 2 is a no-go on Xbox series X

Had this problem since i startes out with SS2 and Chapter 2... in a few settlements they work... in most they don't. We will see... XD

VERSION 49 not on Bethesda via steam just #46 and that version fails.

Thanks, we know upload issues annoy you as well.

How did you find #49? I'm on steam but in-game Bethesda mod loading and it required updates of ss2 chap 2 and ss2 and workbench, I did all of them but 2 won't download. I did find extended and such. But of course without SS2 nothing else works.

Granted I’m pulling mods from the main menu on Xbox, I just went to mods and searched for SS2. V49 was there. This morning when I was having all the issues with SS2 it only showed v47.
Now SS2 downloaded but SS2 Ch 2 is a no-go to download on Xbox.

On xbox I have them working now. But on pc, I can't play ss2.
